Chris is Acacia’s Director of Platform Technology, leading technology value creation across the full investment lifecycle, from deal origination and diligence through post-acquisition integration and long-term differentiation. He partners with portfolio companies to modernize platforms, strengthen cybersecurity and governance, accelerate product and service innovation, and apply emerging technologies to drive enterprise value. With nearly two decades of experience across the public and private sectors, he brings an operational, hands-on approach to scaling resilient, technology-enabled businesses and building market-differentiating IP across the portfolio.
Previously, Chris served as Director of Engineering at Applied Insight, where he led development of Altitude Managed Cloud, an award-winning platform supporting securecloud adoption for U.S. defense and national security customers. Earlier, he worked in defense R&D and served in the U.S. Army. Chris holds an MBA, a BS in Computer Science, and a Graduate Certificate in Technology Management, along with advanced security and cloud certifications.
